Pink Honey The Original Super Hold Brow Glue Review

Ok, I have been influenced. After countless ads on Tik Tok I bought the Pink Honey The Original Superhold Brow Glue.

In all honesty, I never tried the feather brows that were trending a few years back so I wasn’t sure if it would be something I would be able to get on with. My eyebrows are sparse and quite thin naturally, so again, I really didn’t know what to expect.

The product

The packaging is really cool. I love that it looks like a little sweet packet and for a smaller business, they’ve obviously spent time and money on the packaging so I’m really impressed. The brow glue comes in a little honey pot and there’s also a small pink spoolie for you to use. The product is “bubblegum flavour” (as stated on the packaging) and so naturally it smells of bubblegum (kind of). When you open up the pot there’s is a hole in the middle for you to swirl your spoolie around in. So again, they’ve really thought about the product and making it easier for the consumer to use.

I only realised much later, when I was writing this review that the packaging has in depth instructions on how to use the product. The brow glue is designed to hold for 16 hours. The packaging also states that it is cruelty free and vegan.

What did I really think?

I must have had 100+ videos show up on my TikTok FYP on how to use the product so I was well prepared before it arrived. I decided to use a the Oui Cherrie setting mist (by Beauty Crop) to wet the spoolie and inside the hole in the jar and got to swirling. Once I thought I had enough product on the spoolie, I brushed my brows backwards so they were coated in the glue. Then I shaped them and used clean, dry fingers, to pat them down into place.

So far so good. It’s actually really easy to use. The hard part for me was filling in my brows because I only had the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow as a brow product. I need to invest in a pen that I can draw hair on to my brows.

I’ll be honest, the Pink Honey Brow Glue surprised me. It’s a good product. From ease of use to staying power, it’s great even. Personally I found that patting it down with dry fingers means that I don’t get any white, crumbly bits by the end of the day either. It holds all day and is extremely easy to take off. Just a micellar water soaked cotton pad works well with taking it all off.

I still need to get used to using the product and figuring out my new brow style. I find that it does look quite messy on me at the moment and I prefer neat brows, so let’s see if I can find a happy medium.

3 month update: OK I hate this product LOL. I hate the feeling of crunchy brows and this just makes me feel very aware of my brows all day long. It feels bizarre and it really does flake off throughout the day. Nothing worse than looking like you’ve got dandruff in your brows.

Would I recommend it? Honestly? No x
