Makeup Revolution Highlight Highlighting Powder Palette Review

Mermaid vibes have never been easier to channel with today’s product of choice. Got your attention? Good. You’ll want to know what this is about before thanking me later. Makeup Revolution have created a must have highlighter palette aptly named “Highlight” that you need to get your hands on.

You’ll probably know by now that I have a love/hate relationship with Makeup Rev. They’re colour and conceal palette did absolutely nothing for me but their consistently low prices always see me going back to their stand to check out their new releases. The Highlight palette was no exception, as soon as I saw the rose gold box packaging I had to find the tester to see what this was about.

The palette is made up of three (big) pans in shades: Golden lights, Peach lights and Pink lights.

The shade golden lights is truly beautiful and is dubbed to be a real dupe of NARS Albatross. Peach lights is a peachy-pink shade with silvery undertones which resembles NARS Reckless and lastly pink lights which is more on the pink/lilac end, and a definite dupe for NARS New Order.

It was definitely love at first swipe. With just a light touch a huge amount of product will transfer on to your finger/brush. The pigmentation is insane and one thing I’ve noticed over the past month is that the fallout is minimal. Something else I love is that the highlighters are not overloaded with glitter, it’s just pure shimmer – exactly as a highlighter should be.

The highlighters are really really easy to blend too so you can go as subtle or glam as you like. They also have pretty good lasting power too providing you don’t touch your face, so air kisses only people! The colours in this palette are also spot on because they suit literally all skin tones. I’ve tried and tested it on my friends and they were all GLOWING SO BEAUTIFULLY.

Priced at £8 this palette is so worth it. Infact it’s so good compared to other brands and their price points that I picked up two at the same time! Makeup Rev, you’ve definitely won me over with this one! Pick yours up at your local Superdrug Makeup Rev stand or on the Tambeauty (created by Makeup Rev) website here.
