Hello lovelies! It sure has been a while since I’ve fired up my laptop but truth be told, a small break was much needed! I’ve got some great content lined up for what I’ve been up to, what I’ve been wearing, buying and where I’ve been eating, so keep checking back! Last week saw the start of October and you know what that means? ALL OF THE SPOOKY FUN! You may have seen that I kick started the month by recreating a rainbow Halloween makeup skull over on Instagram. I will try to get a few more of those in with tutorials on how to recreate the looks for yourself.
I also had a huge spring clean of my wardrobe and finally put away all of my summer outfits. Since I didn’t get a chance to visit a pumpkin patch last year, I dragged my bestie out during the week to cheer us both up. We decided to go to Foxes Farm Produce as it wasn’t too far from either of us and they even have a corn maze that we were really excited to visit.
Unfortunately for us, we got there and the fields were closed!
It was actually a real shame as I was really looking forward to it but never mind! That didn’t stop us from getting a few pictures in ha.
Back to my outfit though. This year fashion critics are classing leopard print as a timeless neutral that everyone should add to their wardrobes. Whatever form your feline fur print is taking, it’s such a great way to
Leopard skirts are a classic wardrobe staple that never go out of style. I had originally lusted after a midi skirt (thanks Insta Influencers) but due to slight confidence issues in my body shape, I decided on a skater skirt instead. Skater skirts look good on anyone and are SO easy to style. Whether you’re rocking it with converse or donning ankle boots, it just looks really ‘put together’.
Shop the skirt and the other parts of my outfit below.
I went with a reserved black long sleeve turtle neck to wear with the skirt, along with black tights. I had a meeting in the morning so it was a great way to keep it smart-casual.
It doesn’t just have to be worn this way though. An easy way to style a leopard print skirt is with slogan or band t-shirts, you can wear chunky knits or even throw a hoodie over the top and you’re good to go. I guess with any outfit really, you just have to remember that if YOU like it, then you can definitely pull it off!
Have you bought into the leopard print trend yet?
