For just 13 days, The Blue Paradox is providing an immersive and educational experience brought to you by SC Johnson in partnership with Conservation International.
When I booked this, I had absolutely no idea what I was going to see. I had just read an email saying it was incredible and I absolutely had to go.

We arrived at Exhibition London in Shepherds Bush and there was already buzz around the entrance. The lady checking me in told me, I was in for a treat and I would love it.
With 360-degree digital projections, the exhibition invites you to walk beneath the ocean’s surface to better understand the ocean plastics crisis and learn how you can make a difference.
The only word I can use to describe the event is – wow. This entire event has revolutionised how I think of the ocean crisis. I don’t know about you but when someone starts preaching to me about recycling and plastic pollution, I think about how plastic straws have ruined my life (first world problems, I know) and I switch off. This exhibition drew me in from the very beginning.
Throughout the exhibition you’re guided through different rooms, the first one being my absolute favourite. The 360 immersive and interactive screens gives even Yayoi Kusama a run for her money.
More than great aesthetics and technology though, it really guides you to think about your every day life. From the teas that you drink and the brands that you buy, it gives you a real realisation on how much of an impact we are each making every single day.
The staff are super friendly (and great with kids!) and are all very knowledgeable on the Ocean crisis. Fun fact: their entire uniform, right down to their converses is made from recyclable material.
Would I recommend it? absolutely. It’s such an eye opener and overall a great experience.
