Q+A Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Cleanser

I love me some Hyaluronic acid. The name definitely sounds a lot scarier than it is but once I realised how great it is, it’s one of the top ingredients I look out for. So naturally when I was sent the Q + A Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating cleanser It went straight on to my bathroom shelf.

Hyaluronic Acid – what is it?

This molecule is a moisture binding ingredient that keeps skin plump and hydrated.

If you want to know a bit more about Hyaluronic acid, check out my post:

The instructions state:

Massage into wet skin to cleanse. Rinse with warm water and use morning and night.

What did I really think?

I use this cleanser in the shower every morning, that way my face is already wet. It has a gel like consistency so it applies easily and washes off really quickly. There’s no fragrance and from what I can see no terrible ingredients.

I have to be honest it doesn’t feel revolutionary. It’s more of a no frills product which gives you results but it’s almost undetectable. At least it has been for me.

My face doesn’t feel tight at all after washing it off and I would definitely recommend the Q+A Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Cleanser for sensitive skin.

Hyaluronic Acid

I’ve been using it for the past 6 weeks and have worked my way through most of the tube.

I should say that I’m currently using prescription strength retinol so my skin does get dry and flakey. Since using this product however the flaking is non existent and dryness is definitely less.

Would I purchase this myself? I think it’s one of those products that I would keep around. If my skin flared up or was feeling particularly dry, it would be the first thing I would reach for.
