You know what, after over a year in lockdown I’ve realised that I really just love to go out to eat. Forget partying and doing anything else, food literally is life. So when I heard Kerb was parking up at The National Theatre this spring and summer with five food trucks, two bars and a rotating line-up of music, you know I have already made plans to head straight there as soon as Ramadan is over.

Kerb believe that the food on our streets should be filled with incredible, diverse, slap-you-round-the-face-it’s-so-good flavour, and that the talented traders behind it should have the best chance possible to do what they love, develop their businesses and, ultimately, succeed from the kerb up. It’s such a simple idea that just makes sense?
KERB x National Theatre will feature the likes of Nashville hot chicken, poke bowls, surf ‘n’ turf, bao buns and ice cream running Thursdays – Sundays all the way though to the end of September.
The current line up is:
Baba Dhaba – Halal Pakistani streetfood!
Lords of Poke – Build your own Hawaiian poke bowls
StakeHaus – incredible steak and fries
Bian Dang – Classic Taiwanese lunchbox dishes
Milktree Gelato – Vegan and traditional gelation served straight from Blutop’s old van!
Thurs 15th April – Sun 26th September 2021
Upper Ground, London SE1 9PX
