You may have read my ‘How to apply Hyaluronic Acid serum’ post from around this time last year. Ever since then I’ve been incorporating Hyaluronic Acid into my skincare routine and I have never looked back.

So I have acne prone skin and I’m on a strict skincare routine with prescribed tretinoin. This means my skin sheds a lot and is very dry. Pair that with regularly washing my face a few times a day for wudhu and my skin had become really tight and dry.
I also found that moisturisers just seemed to sit on my skin and move the dry skin around *vom*.
I was very kindly gifted the Q+A Hyaluronic Acid Facial Serum a few months ago and it has changed my skin completely.
Q+A say that the product creates the illusion of smoother, softer skin. Lightweight and with a luxurious, airy texture, the serum is able to glide across your base, effortlessly absorbing to avoid any heavy, sticky residue being left behind. Perfect for people that are prone to dry skin, as a boost of potent Hyaluronic Acid drenches your visage in moisture, locking it in for long-lasting, touchable softness.
An infusion of Biosaccharide Gum helps to minimise the look of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a plumper, firmer appearance, while Betaine encourages a dewy, silky-smooth feeling. Kind, gentle ingredients allow the serum to weave itself seamlessly into your skincare routine.

The bottle is an amber glass bottle, perfect for keep the UV light out. It comes with a dropper attached to the lid for ease of use. I love that for hygiene purposes too. I personally keep it on my bathroom shelf right next to my cleansers, that way it’s hard not to forget to use it.
I apply it straight on to my skin whilst it’s still damp after washing my face. The consistency is of a normal serum so it’s very easy to work into the skin. I’m happy to report that there’s no sticky residue or smell. It’s just feels really light and cooling. It’s honestly just a really easy product to use and include into your skincare routine without any extra fuss.
It’s currently priced at £6.50 on their website and can vary across retailers. I’m still not over how affordable AND effective Q+A products are.
I have to say the results are pretty much instant. My skin wasn’t feeling tight straight away and by the third day the dry skin had subsided.
With regular daily use I’ve found that my doesn’t feel so tired/dehydrated either.
Would I recommend it? 100% – it’s like magic in a bottle and everyone needs to try it!
Would I buy it again? I’m on my third bottle now!
