Having found a new found love for dystopian novels and having read a few excellent reviews on delirium, I thought I would give it a go. It surpassed my expectations and I was hooked until the very end. I finished pandemonium in less than two days with another great ending to the book I could not wait to read the next. Unfortunately to my horror Requiem was not being published until the following year so I had a long wait to go. I pre-ordered on my trusted kindle and when it was finally released I turned page after page to the very end.
All the characters are lovable particularly Lena, the protagonist; and the book is filled with beautifully written quotes.
The only reason it didn’t receive a full 10/10 was the ending. It was left pretty ambiguous and perhaps that was done purposefully by Oliver to leave it open for another book one day. Even so, after the endings in the first two books I expected a bit more, especially as so many questions were left unanswered.
Having recommended to a few people who have said it is just as amazing as I thought it was, I can guarantee it will be loved by readers of all ages. I now look forward to it being released as a film in the very near future!
