I honestly believe that high street brand Bourjois is extremely underrated. I’ve tried a few of their products and I can honestly say, I can’t think of one bad thing to say about them.
Today’s review is of their fabulous clubbing liquid liner.
I LOVE eyeliner, it’s such a great and simple tool that can really finish a look. For almost 10 years (eek), i’ve been a Rimmel girl. I do tend to stray, but I always end up going back to it. However this year, I’ve had trouble with my eyes and found that in the winter months especially, my eyes tend to water a lot, and i’m sure you know having tear-smudged eyeliner is not a good look.
So off I ran to my nearest Superdrug to search for a waterproof liner. When I saw that Bourjois had a line of “clubbing liners” out, I didn’t think twice before picking it up.
The liner boasts that it has a high concentration of pigments and that it is smudge and fade proof. What more could I ask for?
After a good few months of use, the results?
The product does EXACTLY what it says on the tube. It’s very easy to apply, stays on the entire day and is very pigmented.
The consistency of the product is great and although the tube looks small-ish, it lasts a very long time. My only teeny weeny gripe is with the brush itself. The size and shape of it, is fantastic, however the bristles are really hard and sometimes if you’re clumsy like me and accidentally poke yourself in the eye…it happens ok..it does hurt. Still, no pain no gain right?
I’d whole heartedly recommend this to you all. Great value for money and a great product for those rainy wintery days!
Have you tried this product? What do you think of Bourjois as a brand? Do you wear top liner often?
