This time 2 years ago I was invited to watch a Wimbledon match and it was epic. Sadly this year I’m not sure how many people they will be able to watch live this year or whether it will be at full capacity but fret not, because there are plenty of spaces ready to give you that classic Wimbledon experience from their big screens this summer. Here’s a short round up of the best places to watch the games:

Popping up in both Belair Park in Dulwich AND Cannizaro Park in Wimbledon, Big Screen London have got you well and truly covered for both Wimbledon singles finals. Big Screen hits both parks for the July 10-11 weekend and offers guests outdoor viewings with mocktails, ice cream and much more.
I love this little pocket of London and with the sun beaming down on the boats and rows of restaurants, it’s going to be just perfect! Plus If you need a little more excitement than what’s on the screen, try the floating pontoon at St Katharine Dock – You can even bring your own food and drink.
Want an even better view? Head to Tower Bridge to get a stunning riverside seat overlooking Tower Bridge. It’s a ticketed event, with matches shown on the big screen between July 1-3. Sign up for your tickets here [Link now removed].
Moving further into central and on to a rooftop, check out Brown Hart Gardens – another Hidden gem in London. The deckchairs are out in full swing here with 550 spaces open to the public. It’s going to be incredible!
If you’re not up for getting up the steps to the rooftop, head a few streets down to Grosvenor Square garden where there will be more seats and drinks available.
Eccleston Yards has a glorious setup of outdoor deckchairs facing a giant screen, with drinks available in the Morena restaurant spot from the intriguing cocktail cart. It’s a cute little set up which you have to check out!
Alongside Eccleston Yards in Belgravia is the Halkin Arcade which boasts a multitude of outdoor seats for you to enjoy along with the pop-up bar.
Canada Square Park & Cabot Square in Canary Wharf now have pop up screens all summer long. You can grab a drink from one of their many bars and restaurants and relax while watching your all your favourites.
Solar Pergola, a new al-fresco terrace is now open Television Centre. The immersive, ‘sun’ themed destination is the glowing hotspot to enjoy the long-days and Summer months ahead. Patty & Bun, Kricket and Bluebird on hand nearby for takeaway food, as well as a pop up bar and BBQ at Solar Pergola itself.
Do check beforehand if tickets need to be purchased!
