National Theatre Free Theatre Stream For Lockdown

Since we can’t go to the theatre anymore so the theatre is coming to us instead. The National Theatre is launching the National Theatre at Home programme, streaming some its most popular productions for free on YouTube. The films will be shown at 7pm on Thursdays and will remain available for week, when the next one will be broadcast.

One Man, Two Guvnors
James Corden stars in this smash-hit comedy directed by Nicholas Hytner

Jane Eyre
Sally Cookson’s bold adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s classic

Treasure Island
Arthur Darvill plays Long John Silver in the NT’s Christmas show from 2014
Thurs 16th – Thurs 23rd April

Twelfth Night
Tamsin Greig stars as Malvolia in this gender-fluid version of Shakespeare’s comedy
Thurs 23rd – Thurs 30th April

Frankenstein
Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternate the roles of Frankenstein and the creature, directed by Danny Boyle, and both versions will be shown
Thurs 30th April – Fri 8th May

Antony & Cleopatra
Ralph Fiennes and Sophie Okonedo star as the famous lovers in this Shakespeare classic
Thurs 7th – Thurs 14th May
