Elemis is the leading luxury British spa and skincare brand, I say it over and over again that I simply love this brand. It was one of the first slightly high(er) end range that I used and I seem to go back to it time and time again.
Recently I’ve become much more aware of organic &vegan beauty products and it’s really reassuring to know that Elemis does not test on animals and their products do not include animal derived collagen, synthetic perfumes and colourings, detergents, preservatives, mineral oil, synthetic alcohol, silicones and genetically modified crops.
I’ll cut the fluff and just say it – Elemis’ Sensitive Cleansing Wash is in one of my top 3 face washes. Whilst I was on Roaccutane, my skin peeled…A LOT and Some days I found my skin felt almost painful. When I discovered Sensitive cleansing wash, it felt like I had found my saviour! I used it daily with warm water and found that it does take a while to lather up. This isn’t a bad thing though as it means there aren’t a lot of chemicals in the product. When it does get going, you’ll find that there’s not a huge amount of froth but enough so that I was able to get rid of the peeling dry skin. My face smelt really fresh and my skin was left nourished. There was no tightness in my skin that some face washes leave with you.
Once my skin had cleared and was getting back to normal, I found that I needed something a little stronger as this a very mild wash. If you have active acne, rosacea or skin sores, I would whole-heartedly recommend this product to you.
Have you tried any Elemis products? What did you think?
