Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel in Ebony

Let’s talk brows, baby! Specifically, let’s talk about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel in Ebony. This little tube of magic has been a staple in my makeup routine for years, and I’m going to be honest, it took a while for me to get used to but it has taken my brows from the early 2000s block brows to fluffy and natural with just a few swipes!

Why Ebony?

Ok so I’m going to address this question first because people are immediately outraged when I recommend the colour Ebony – I promise you this isn’t black. It’s actually a cool toned brown which is perfect for many of us South Asian girls. I find that so many brow products that are dark brown have a really red undertoned and if you’re not blessed with dark, naturally thick brows like me, then it’s really noticeable. Don’t worry though, I got you, Ebony is your perfect match. It adds definition and color without looking too harsh or unnatural. It’s like a filter for your brows, but in real life.

What I Love:

How I Use It:

  1. Brush ‘Em Up: I start by brushing my brows upwards with the spoolie side of the wand. Usually I use a seperate one so it’s all combed out with no product on
  2. Fill ‘Em In: Then, I use the shorter brushed side to fill in any sparse areas and define the shape.
  3. Set It: I finish by brushing my brows upwards again with the longer brush side to set the product in place.

The Verdict:

Is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel worth the hype? Absolutely. It’s a game-changer for anyone looking to achieve defined, full-looking brows. It’s easy to use, long-lasting, and gives a natural, polished look. What I will say is that it does take time getting used to the brush and it does take some patience to begin with. Once you’re used to how you want to use the product and how you want your brows to look, I guarantee, you’ll love this product!
