The week where I got my layers back

This week has been crazy busy to say the least! Work has been ridiculously busy and my blog inbox has been pretty hectic too. Not complaining though because that means lots of new content lined up!

What I’m watching:
I finished season 2 of How To Get Away With Murder and honestly, I wasn’t really feeling most of the season. The characters just seem really whiney with little character development, this includes Analise. Still, I got through it and I’m still intrigued to see what happened next.
I’ve just started watching Power and so far I don’t know what to think. I mean I was really enjoying it and the excitement of seeing 50 cent grace my screen was a bit alarming for those watching with me! However, I just cannot deal with Ghost. Cheaters in general make me sick and Angela *cough*homewrecker*cough* is just so….wishy washy.

I also watched Kingsman: The Golden Circle and I loved it. Aside from the slightly crazy storyline, there’s literally something for everyone. If you’re not into Channing Tatum or Taron Egerton then there is of course Colin Firth *vom*.

What I’m lusting after:

My favourite shop at the moment has to be Mango. I walk in, walk out and then I’m tempted to walk straight back in again and buy more! I’ve been trying really really hard to be a little bit wiser with what I’m spending on and try not to buy into too many fast fashion trends. Here are some of my favourite picks from Mango and yes, that is velvet trousers you’re seeing.

What I’m eating & drinking:
I feel a new post coming on featuring my top 10 fish & chips establishments in London. Just when I thought nowhere could top Poppies, I’ve discovered Hobsons! After a quick Google Search, it seems fairly new and with it’s prime location, I can really see it taking off. Plus all there Fish & Chips are friend separately to avoid any cross contamination. Fab news for Halal eaters!

Where I’ve been:
Live True London – Sooo I finally got my hair cut! After weeks of talking myself out of it, I decided to bite the bullet and just go for it. I didn’t want to lose the length at all and with the rainy/humid weather my hair seems to explode into a frizzy mop. I needed something that would tame the mop and put some shape into it so I want with long layers.
I had an amazing experience with Live True London who are currently running an offer of 25% off all hair services when you quote “Blogger Offer” when booking your appointment. Fab considering they’re already pretty reasonably priced.

What else:
I’m going to be honest and say that recently I’ve lost the motivation to blog. I love what I’ve built up and it’s always been nice having a side hustle but it’s that time of the year again when I feel like I’m drowning in a sea of really edgy, already well established bloggers. Still, that doesn’t mean I’m going to be stopping. Instead I’m going to try and move the blog into a different direction. I haven’t figured it all out yet but I will keep you all updated 🙂

Also any ideas or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated!
