Lates at the Kew Orchid Festival
The Kew Orchid festival is back, and this year they’ll be celebrating the colourful tropical bounty of Cameroon. And as well as constructing a miniature indoor rainforest, they’re also putting on some Lates, complete with Cameroonian themed cocktails, cooking demos, food stalls, and live performances

Romeo + Juliet at Backyard Cinemas
Backyard Cinema is back after a three year hiatus because of that plague upon everyone’s houses. And this time it’s showing Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 classic Romeo + Juliet, bookended by performances of the soundtrack by a live choir. I went last year and it was epic!
