Get ready for a week of all things sustainable fashion at Blenheim Palace during Sustainable Fashion Week (September 20th to 29th)! Cherwell Collective, Oxford’s sustainability champions, are teaming up with the Palace to bring you two awesome events.

First up, dive into the Carbon Cost of Fashion exhibition (September 23rd-27th) at the Stables Café. This interactive exhibit will spill the tea on fast fashion’s impact on the environment. With cool mannequins and hands-on activities, it’ll show how clothes are made throughout history and why we need to switch things up. Plus, it’ll guide you towards sustainable alternatives – because looking good shouldn’t cost the Earth! (Admission is free with any valid Blenheim Palace ticket or annual pass).
But wait, there’s more! On Tuesday, September 24th, the Orangery at Blenheim Palace transforms into a sustainable fashion runway! This ticketed event will showcase over 20 local designers, including Oxfam, who are rocking sustainable style. Think recycled materials and upcycled clothes that have been given a whole new life! It’s going to be a night of celebrating local talent and creativity, with music, food, and of course, incredible fashion. And to top it off, there’s a “dress to progress” theme, so get ready to show off your most sustainable threads!
Event organizer Anna Sturrock is pumped: “We can’t wait to show off these amazing designers! It’s inspiring to see all the different ways people are making fashion sustainable. There are tons of ways to be green when it comes to clothes!”
