This year we’ve lost the rink at the NHM but we can always rely on Somerset House to keep bringing the magic. Moët & Chandon are kicking off the festive season by bringing back the infamous rink along with the 40 foot Christmas tree.

As always the skating rink will open during the day and into the evening, and there will be a programme of festive fun to suit all ages.
The series of Skate Lates sees takeovers by Deptford Northern Soul Club, ESAE Sisters (a east and southeast Asian LGBTQ+ organisation), contemporary electronic music producers nonclassical and a string of DJs playing club bangers.
A skate school will help novice, rusty or unsteady skaters, and kid clubs sessions for child children aged 6-10 will allow little ones to cut their teeth on the ice in a fun and safe way.
Bringing the glam to rink, Skate’s partner Moët & Chandon are supplying the fizz and cocktails (the rink-side bar has non-boozy beverages to warm you up too), and Jimmy Garcia will bring cosy Alpine dining to Skate, in partnership with Switzerland tourism.
