Maison Margiela Replica Memory Box Pop Up Review

French luxury brand, Maison Margiela, is allowing guests the chance to explore the iconic ‘replica’ fragrance range with an immersive experience which is all based on exploring personal memories through scent. A beautiful pop up consisting of 8 zones will take guests on a memorable journey. 

I love immersive experiences so this was right up my street. I love how genuinely lovely the staff are and despite the small venue, they’ve put together something really special. When you walk in you’re given a ‘memory box’ then you walk through to the first room where you try and invoke a memory through visuals. Next you focus on olfactory senses and print off a label for your new memory/scent.

The next few rooms will allow you to collect bits to add to your box and build up on the memory. I loved the use of tech throughout the experience too. They have a polaroid printer so if you have a photo you want printed they can help with that too and even ipads connected to typewriters to print off your very own label.

All in all, it’s a really cool pop up which definitely reminded me of my love for ‘By the fireplace’.

Tickets are live on Eventbrite, entry is free and everyone is welcome. You can walk in or book a time slot to visit, this is not essential, but booking is recommended for a guaranteed entry.
