So a while back I posted about getting a job that I’ve been wanting to do for a really long time. Having been here almost a year now, I really do love it and find it very rewarding. For those that don’t know, I work in a refuge where women who flee domestic violence leave their homes behind and come to stay.
The site where I work currently has an empty room and my manager has given me free reign over it…woohoo! So naturally, I’ve thought about it and decided I would like it to be a room for respite and relaxation. In other words a fashion and beauty room!
Now this is all good and well, however you have to remember I am creating this room on a budget of £0 and a few donations. Now don’t worry, I’m not going to start asking you to donate any money! What I need from you is some ideas.
I know all you guys are all extremely creative and a few minds are better than one, so here goes…
Do you guys have any ideas on how I can turn this room into a room of ‘relaxation and respite’ in the most inexpensive way possible?
