After my recent trip to Amsterdam I’ve had a few requests for Halal places to eat in Amsterdam. I decided to put them all here and build on the list as the halal food scene grows. Feel free to send me your suggestions too.
These are not in any particular order. Also, please remember to check with them yourself!
Chun Cafe
Ok so this viral Tik Tok cafe is worth the hype. Let me tell you, I queued in the cold (and I will never normally queue!) and questioned many many times if it was worth queing for essentially, a sandwich. Guys, believe the hype – rib eye bulgogi toast BANGED!
Burger n Shake
The original halal burger chain in Amsterdam and probably one of the best. We tried the Brooklyn and The Original and both were great. The chips were amazing too!
The Bab
This one was down the road from our hotel and if I was staying any longer I definitely would have gone back again. We got Japchae and KFC and it was SO good!
Oh my Bun!
Oh my Bun is new to the Amsterdam food scene but it seems to be taking off well. Get a load of these!
Shiso
Shiso is a bit more upmarket if you’re after a halal evening dinner. Only the chicken is halal here but they do an all you can eat menu as well as an a la carte one. Stunning venue but questionable service!
Monopoly Burger
This one is a little bit further out so I didn’t have the time to visit but they do look yummy!
I am planning on doing an itinerary for spending 72 hours in Amsterdam so watch this space!
