Garnier Ultimate Blends Nourishing Hair Food Banana Shampoo For Dry Hair Review

I have been RAVING about the Garnier Ultimate Blends Nourishing Hair Food Banana mask. It’s literally one of the best things for making my hair soft and looking healthier so when I saw that there was a Garnier Ultimate Blends Nourishing Hair Food Banana shampoo and conditioner in the same range, it went straight into my basket.

Since I use the mask as a conditioner anyway, I gave the bottled version a miss.

The Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana Shampoo claims to help nourish dry hair and instantly absorbs to nourish, quickly detangle and rinse. It is said to leave you hair ‘intensely nourished and healthy-looking’. What more could you ask for?

In the beauty circle it has been dubbed a dupe for the much loved Briogeo banana shampoo. So if I wasn’t convinced already, this definitely did it.

The shampoo comes in a cute yellow bottle which functions well. The shampoo is very easy to work into a lather and smells lovely. If you hate the smell of bananas, you don’t need to worry, it’s smells fruity but definitely not of bananas.

It’s very easy to wash out and doesn’t leave any residue or make you feel like you need to wash your hair a few times to get it clean.

What did I think?

Overall, I really love this shampoo. I can tell the days that I haven’t used it because when I do use it, my frizz is kept at bay and it has a really healthy shine to it. I’m always concerned about hair fall out but there was no issues with that at all.

Would I buy it again? 100% yes.

Would I recommend it? If you have dry, frizzy hair, this is going to be your saviour.
