The INKEY List Bio-Active Ceramide Repairing & Plumping Moisturizer Review

As my next birthday grows closer, I have had no choice but to look at my skincare collection and really level up my skincare. I’ve been looking for a moisturizer that targets wrinkles, hydrates, and strengthens my skin barrier – all without breaking the bank. The INKEY List Bio-Active Ceramide Repairing & Plumping Moisturizer has just been launched and has already been making waves, promising big results for a small price tag. But is it all hype, or can this drugstore find truly deliver? I have been testing it out to find out.

What is the INKEY List Bio-Active Ceramide Repairing & Plumping Moisturizer?

This moisturiser boasts a unique formula containing:

All of the above contribute to up to 4X visible fine line and wrinkle reduction. In fact, The INKEY list have said that in their clinical trial, 100% of participants showed a clinical improvement in 6 key signs of aging (fine lines & wrinkles, plumpness, firmness, lift, elasticity and barrier function) after 28 days.

Here’s the tea:

My experience:

Ok so I’ve been using this moisturizer for a 3 weeks now, I’m just over half way through it and here’s my honest take:

The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly. I love that it doesn’t leave a greasy residue and doesn’t feel like I’ve left anything on my skin. Plus, the fact that it’s fragrance free is a big pro for me. Moisturisers do not need to be scented!

It definitely hydrates my skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. Any tightness I may be feeling after washing my skin is taken care of with the INKEY List Bio-Active Ceramide Repairing & Plumping Moisturizer. I do try to use it on a damp face, just so that the hyaluronic acid can retain any extra moisture. For me, this works really well so give this technique a try and let me know what you think.

As for the wrinkle-reducing claims, I haven’t noticed any dramatic difference yet, but I’ll keep using it to see the long-term effects. Although I don’t have any deep set wrinkles (alhamdulillah!) I am watching my marrionette/smile lines closely.

Lastly, the price point is unbeatable for a ceramide-based moisturizer.

The verdict:

The INKEY List Bio-Active Ceramide Repairing & Plumping Moisturizer is a solid choice for anyone seeking a budget-friendly, lightweight moisturizer with hydrating and potential anti-aging benefits. While the long-term wrinkle-reducing effects might be subtle, the price tag and overall performance make it a worthy contender for your skincare routine, especially if you’re new to ceramides or on a budget. For me personally, I can see it becoming a staple on my skincare shelf.
