I’m currently in the midst of revamping my wardrobe, out with the old and in with the new. However I’m such a hoarder that I grow strangely attached to clothes. Even if I will never wear it again, I have to hold on to it, just in case.
I’ve had a serious talk with myself and now come to the following resolution. Before I can completely throw out any of the old, I feel I owe it to myself (and my bank account) to wear whatever it is, at least one more time. And then to see if it I can upcycle it at all, if there’s nothing I can do then it’s a definite bye-bye.
Today’s garment in question was this drop hem colourful leopard print dress (H&M). I wasn’t particularly wow-ed by it when I bought it, but for some reason my sister convinced me to buy it. Since high-low skirts and dresses were sooo two years ago, I definitely don’t think I want to keep the dress. The waist seam is also too high for me to cut it into a top, so that means it’s bye bye i’m afraid.
My shoes (Topshop) are currently my favourite pair that I own at the moment. The velvet lace up’s with a chunky sole are extremely comfortable and so so versatile!
Any ideas on how to revamp the dress? What do you think of my shoes?
