So if you know me even just a little bit, you will know that one brand I would not be seen dead in is *drum roll*… Michael Kors. I just don’t know where he came from and why slapping your name all over tote bags has made you a designer.
So recently I had the opportunity to have this post commissioned by Daniel Footwear on a pair of Michael Kors shoes. I decided to turn it into a challenge and see if I could work them. I browsed their brilliant website and picked something that I would style in two different ways. I opted for the Michael Kors Clara knee length boot. Mostly because I’m loving knee length boots for this coming Autumn/Winter, but also because it’s actually a nice boot.
First up there’s an Audrey Hepburn inspired outfit. I absolutely love this tulle skirt from Wolf & Badger, it’s so cute and the leather belt really finishes it off. I would wear it with this Simone Rocha top that’s embellished with pearls, how fitting right? Finishing it off with a YSL Bag and some round rimmed sunglasses. The Michael Kors Clara boot just gives the outfit an edgy lift, which I’m definitely loving.
The second outfit I’ve chosen is a casual day time outfit. I’ve teamed up the MK Clara boots with an oversized denim shirt. I’ve added a belt to give the outfit a more feminine shape and pearl earrings to add some more subtle femininity. I’ve finished the outfit off with a black rucksack from Debenhams. The outfit is so easy to wear and easily interchangeable from day to night.
After putting together just two outfit’s to wear with the Michael Kors knee length Clara boots, I may have just changed my mind about having no Michael Kors in my wardrobe at all. These boots are a definite must have and it looks like payday couldn’t come any sooner! Check out the fantastic range of shoes available on Daniel Footwear here.
What do you think of the boots?
