Latest Loves – 30.03.2015

There are so many amazing and quirky things in and around London and of course the internet that sometimes it’s hard to keep up. This week I am loving some amazing things, a lot of which you can buy online.

Let’s start with Rasta Dance company’s version of Romeo and Juliet. I went to watch this last weekend and it was absolutely brilliant. The greatest love story ever told with the help of Jay Z, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga numbers. Sheer genius! Juliet was ridiculously talented and something about ehr reminded me of Daenerys Targaryen. Stunning stuff.

I’m not quite sure how I came across this next one but as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it; and by have it, I mean put it on my wishlist for when I win the lottery. This typewriter is £600+(!) but not only does it look awesome, you can plug it into virtually any device via a USB and use it as a keyboard. For someone who loves writing, this would be the most amazing gift.

Next, all you beauty fanatics will be happy to hear that MAC lip liners are pretty much all back in stock. Woohoo. Aside from the usual ‘Spice’ and ‘Soar’ a fellow beauty blogger recommended I try Subculture and I am so glad that I did. It goes perfectly well with my everyday lipstick – MAC Cherish (and other lighter nudes).

Being a 90s child, I will always be fond of name necklaces. You know, necklaces that spell out your name in cursive? Carrie from SATC style. Well just when I thought they couldn’t get any cooler I came across Survival of the hippest. You can now get your twitter handle on a necklace! SO so tempted to get @silly_secrets (yes, i’m shamelessly self plugging so go follow me).

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt – admittedly, this (Netflix original) comedy series took me a while to get into. Once you realise it’s just a real light hearted/strange comedy with some hilarious one liners, you’ll love it. Just as a side note, I really do love the name Xanthippe!

What are some of the things you’re loving at the moment?
