Makeup Revolution What You Waiting For? Eyeshadow Palette

I’ve heard so much about Makeup Revolution cosmetics and when I finally got the chance to try out one of their eyeshadow palettes I was thrilled. They’re fairly new to the cosmetics game so they’d have to be pretty impressive to receive the praise they’ve had so far. Generally, I’m always skeptical even after reviews as there’s always some bias when it comes to beauty bloggers. Still, with all that caution I can safely say that I was pleasantly surprised by the “what are you waiting for?” Salvation palette.

In each of their salvation palette’s you get 12 shimmer shades and 6 matte shades. Just what I needed to create a day to night look for an engagement I had to attend. It was a crazy long day and I was really pleased that the shadows stayed on for the full 8 hours that I had it on, with no smudging. I’m not a great lover of eyeshadows on a daily basis and when I do wear or purchase palette’s, I always seem to gravitate towards the neutral colours. For me, this palette is absolutely perfect.

I did find that the shimmery colours were more pigmented and showed up more than the matte colours on first swipe of my brush, which was unusual. However I found that if I dipped my makeup brush in a bi of water the colours came up brilliantly.

To create this look I used the colour ‘Hot track’ in my crease. I used your ‘Capable’ to blend into my brow bone. Next I used ‘We love you’, ‘Scary conversation’ & ‘Wicked style’ to blend on my actual eyelid. I finished off my peepers with Eyelure eyelashes and added some MAC ‘Cherish’ to keep the look toned down.

Priced at only £6 this palette in particular is a must have for all you beauty addicts out there!
