MAC Cherish

Without a doubt my all time favourite “go-to” lipstick has got to be MAC Cherish. I have used tubes and tubes of this and still can’t get enough.

It has an amazing pigmentation with beige and rose undertones, giving you the barely there natural look that everyone seems to be loving. with just the right amount of shine, it leaves your lips looking moisturised and, well, just really lovely. It is very wearable, as it looks fresh and gorgeous during the day and looks equally stunning for evening events.

Personally I think it compliments wheatish and olive skin tones (South Asians in particular) just perfectly. A little birdy has also told me that Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor keeps MAC Cherish in her bag for when she doesn’t have a makeup artist on hand. She’s also seen to be wearing it in the Chamak Challo video.

Here are a few pictures of me sporting Chrish on my smackers. My foundation shade is in between NC25 and NC30. The product itself looks darker than how it applies, so don’t be put off by the tube until you’ve tried it!

For anyone looking for a nude lipstick that won’t make them look washed out but will still look like they’re wearing a little suttin’ suttin’, Cherish is the one to get! I could not recommend it enough. It is highly pigmented and so the staying power is about 3 hours, which for a nude, that’s pretty good.
If you’re going to be eating and drinking, it will come off but find me a nude that doesn’t!
A sohpisticated, subtle, nude for all occasions – one to Cherish.

What do you think of the colour? Is it one that you would wear? What do you think of MAC as a brand?
