Marrakech; Atlas Mountains

It’s been two weeks since I’ve been away in marvelous Marrakech, so I think it’s high time I did a small post on it.

The bad news is, I didn’t end up taking my camera as I didn’t want to be lugging it around but the good news is I had my (not so reliable) phone.

On the days we didn’t spend lounging around the pool, we did some amazing excursions and one of them was a visit to the Atlas mountains.

Unfortunately for me I hate heights and I had no idea we would actually be hiking so I wasn’t prepared with footwear. Climbing a mountain in flip-flops is seriously NOT fun.

When we did get to the bottom however, it was spectacular. We got to see an amazing waterfall from the top of the mountain and once we had climbed (and cried) to the bottom, we were rowed out on a boat inches from the waterfall.

My Ootd was a coral skirt, black chiffon shirt with a Zara necklace and of course a much needed floppy sun hat.

Have you ever been to Morroco? What did you think? Are you a hiker?

Love Always,
