Cocktails at Cottons

Nothing beats a good catch up with friends and what better to accompany all the latest gossip than cocktails!

Raspberry ripples and a strawberry mojito

My first visit to Cottons was a surprisingly pleasant one. Located on the main road near Chalk Farm station, (opposite morrisons) amongst a range of off licenses and other misc shops, it is easy to miss. Nonetheless, since the restaurant boasts to have regular clientele including the likes of Samuel L. Jackson and Halle Berry, I was definitely eager to visit.

The shop itself seemed small from the outside, but as soon as you step in it has a lovely atmosphere and the rustic decor adds to creating a cosy atmosphere. Since we were only after drinks we didn’t venture further into the restaurant and just stuck to the bar so unfortunately I can’t comment on the restaurant side or food.

I can however say that the staff were extremely friendly and were very helpful. As a non-alcohol drinker myself I was also pleased to find that they did a a range of mocktails delightful mocktails.

Being an avid fan of the old mockjito that I am, I of course opted for a strawberry mojito whiilst my friends chose Raspberry ripples. Since i’ve had my fair share of terrible mocktails, I can definitely say that these drinks were well worth it. Refreshing and delicious!

Cottons also have happy hour prices between 5 and 7 which is always a nice surprise! We didn’t try any of the food but with such a pleasant experience I would be very likely to visit again very soon. I would definitely recommend it to you all.
